As we approach the holiday season, we at the Federal Executive Association of Connecticut (FEACT) would like to take a moment to express our deep gratitude to all of Connecticut’s federal employees. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to public service make a lasting impact on our communities, state, and country.

This Thanksgiving, we reflect on the vital role that each of you plays in keeping our nation running smoothly. Whether through delivering critical services, supporting national security, advancing scientific research, or providing essential care, Connecticut’s federal workforce consistently exemplifies excellence. We are proud to be part of such a dedicated group of professionals.

A Few Reasons to Be Proud:

• Impact on National Defense: Connecticut is home to some of the nation’s top defense contractors and military installations, with federal employees playing key roles in research, development, and support.

• Public Health and Safety: From the CDC to FEMA and beyond, Connecticut’s federal workforce is integral to public health efforts, disaster response, and safeguarding communities.

• Environmental Stewardship: With numerous national parks and wildlife areas in the state, federal employees in agencies like the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the EPA are hard at work protecting our natural resources.

We are truly grateful for the work you do every day, and as we celebrate this season of thanks, we want to acknowledge the sacrifices and contributions you make that help shape a better future for all.

As we close out the year, we invite you to come together with fellow members at our upcoming Holiday Full Membership Meeting. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our achievements, connect with colleagues, and look ahead to the year to come. We’ll also have a chance to reflect on the importance of the work we do and to recognize the collective impact we have in our communities.
