If you’re a Connecticut Federal employee, please join us for complimentary light breakfast at our full membership meeting on Wednesday, December 7 at 8:30am. Understanding that the transportation sector in the United States is the largest single source of greenhouse gas emissions, one of the goals embedded in this Administration’s Infrastructure Law is to improve transportation options for millions of Americans and reduce greenhouse emissions through investment in public transit.
The legislation expands public transit options, replaces deficient transit vehicles with clean, zero emission alternatives, and improves accessibility for the elderly and people with disabilities.
Paige Lawrence and Cathy Gross will share the benefits of commuting and options to travel to the federal buildings in Hartford or other Connecticut locations. Hear how we can reduce our carbon footprint, eliminate stress and save money when we take the bus, share a ride, or walk.
Come join your fellow federal leaders from throughout the state as we plan and discuss the issues and concerns most important to you and your employees.
Meeting location will be:
Ribicoff Federal Building
(cafeteria)
450 Main Street
Hartford, CT 06103
Please register by 11/30 (FREE) to help us coordinate logistics.
During the business meeting we will welcome our members, provide executive board introductions, review prior meeting minutes, review our treasurer’s reports, brief committee updates such as activities/wellness, awards, education and more!
Hope to see you there!
